Hello!

My name is David Arshawsky and I have been sculpting and designing for many years. You might know some of my work from many classic old toy lines like the classic TMNT, Earthworm Jim,Toxic Crusader,Skeleton Warriors, Turok, W.I.L.D.C.A.T.S., Star Trek, and many classic Happy Meal toys, just to name a few.
I am now getting very active in the custom resin and vinyl toy world. You can see my work at www.turtlemilk.com

I also am making comics that are posted free to read on my site. I am just trying to step out into the light, after all the years of "ghost sculpting".
There is a lot of drawings , toys and much more to look at at the site . My whole family are sculptors and artists . Both my sons have amazing art to see.
Check it out and if you like you can contact me at arshawsky@verizon.net
If you have any questions I will be glad to answer all questions!

This is one of the main characters, Phlotzm, from my comics, Phlotzm and Jetzam.
He is 3" high and has articulated shoulders, arms, feet, waist, and head.
He is cast in base colors and has minimal but durable paint.
He comes in a laminated re-openable display shell and backing that is signed and numbered by the artist, David Arshawsky.
It comes with a mini comic, Phlotzm and Jetzam - Downhill Racers, which features a soapbox derby race.
Also included are a helmet and see through goggles, wheels that you can use with a free downloadable papercraft soapbox derby car
and some soapbox derby paraphernalia.
This is limited to 50 pieces.
This a handmade piece. The revolutionary resin figure articulation designed by Mad Joe Customizer of Overkill Creations (overkillcreations.blogspot.com).
It has the look and feel of a produced toy.
The comics will be released soon in a book, but are free to read at www.turtlemilk.com .

my name is Jennifer and I'm pretty new to this toy making malarky! So I thought I'd seek out some fellow toy makers for inspiration and help.
Creatively, I like alot of different things, sewing and making, drawing, painting, sculpting, jewellery making and photography!
I also enjoy going to the cinema, I'm a bit of a film geek! I like rock music and gigs.
M favourite author is Neil Gaiman and I love the Hellblazer graphic novels!

Anyway that's all I wanted to say, here are the links to my websites etc.

Quarantine! is Chertezhniko´s most recent DIY artoys project. It involves different artists living all around Argentina and its goal is to do exactly the opposite thing that people did because of the H1N1 virus... GET TOGETHER!
The DIY toy is a giant wooden made pill (11 inches) similar to that of Tamiflu. No restrictions were imposed on the artists, the objective was to express themselves in a free way.
After participating in the Design Week in Buenos Aires, Cordoba was the second show for this exposition that aims to travel around seeking for new artists and designers who wish to colaborate with the project. Enjoy!
